Wednesday 16th July
Just the two bets for me today using my method and the Paceform Figures — but that was enough to secure a large profit.
The Feminine Urge (18:10 Yarmouth) was top rated last time out by 2, top for weight, and strong on other key metrics. However, she was weak in the market and ran as expected, finishing 5th of 6.
Temple Bruer (19:40 Yarmouth) was top last time out by 1, top for course, distance, going, and weight — and top overall. The bigger-priced of my two bets made no mistake, tracking the leaders before being delivered with a strong run to win by half a length at a decent price.
That win secured a profit of £2,288, pushing my bank to £54,293.00.
Whoever keeps banging on about being patient, disciplined, and sticking to the method with a long-term view… seems to have a point 😄
Total Bets: 728
Total Wins: 213
Daily profit: £2,288
Overall Profit: £53,293.00
Bank: £54,293.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Tuesday 15th July
Three bets for me today using my method:
Glendown (16:00 Beverley): Joint top last time out, top for going, and strong scores across other metrics.
Mrs Trump (16:10 Nottingham): Top last time out by 3, and good scores across all metrics.
Without Delay (21:00 Thirsk): Top last time out by 1, and close up on all metrics.
Results: Glendown never really picked up and finished a tame 9th as favourite. Mrs Trump battled well to fend off the opposition and recorded a good win. Without Delay finished 5th, never really threatening the placed horses. This left me with a minor profit of £320 on the day, bringing my bank to £52,005.00.
Total Bets: 726
Total Wins: 212
Daily profit: £320
Overall Profit: £51,005.00
Bank: £52,005.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Monday 14th July
Three bets for me today using my method, which as usual allowed me to scan the full day’s racing in minutes.
Classy Al (14:40 Ayr): Top last time out by 6, second highest for course, distance, and going (just one off best for course/going and two for distance).
Clasina (16:10 Ayr): Top last time out by 1, second highest for course, distance, and going.
Hayynah (18:30 Windsor): Top last time out by 6 and top for all other metrics.
Classy Al was held up as usual and finished strongly to win at a nice price after being well backed. Clasina was also well backed but couldn’t quite pick up the winner, finishing a close 3rd. Hayynah led everywhere but was caught on the line, beaten by a short head into 2nd.
So, a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd today, with the biggest-priced of the three winning, resulting in a fantastic profit of £4,000 on the day — taking my bank to £51,685.00.
Total Bets: 723
Total Wins: 211
Daily profit: £4,000
Overall Profit: £50,685.00
Bank: £51,685.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Sunday 13th July
No bets for me today using my method on the only Flat meeting at Southwell. I don’t bet at Irish turf meetings, so that excludes Navan. Brosay in the last at Southwell was considered, but with 7 of the 11 runners lacking a Paceform All-Weather rating, and Brosay’s last-time-out 87 figure not matched under today’s conditions (only 81 across most metrics), I’ve had a no-bet day. Back tomorrow, no doubt.
Saturday 12th July
5 bets for me today using my method:
Old Cock (14:00 York) — Top last time out by 1, decent scores across metrics. Finished 4th.
Washington Heights (14:35 York) — Top last time out by 1, top for course, good other metrics. Won, toughed it out from the front.
Tabletalk (15:45 York) — Joint top last time out, top for going, close to best for course and distance. Finished 3rd.
Riot (17:20 Ascot) — Top last time out by 2, top on all metrics. Finished 5th.
Grand Harbour (20:20 Salisbury) — Top last time out by 1, top on all metrics. Finished 3rd.
This left me with a deficit of £800 on the day, taking my bank to £47,685.00.
Total Bets: 720
Total Wins: 210
Daily profit:- £800
Overall Profit: £46,685.00
Bank: £47,685.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Friday 11th July
5 bets today located using my method with Paceform Figures:
Urban Sprawl (14:00 Ascot) — Top last time out by 2; top for distance and going; strong on other metrics.
Argentine Tango (14:25 Newmarket) — Top last time out by 5; top for course and distance; good scores on other metrics.
Copper Knight (17:07 York) — Joint top last time out; top for distance, going, and weight; good score for course.
Soi Dao (19:40 Chepstow) — Top last time out by 4; top for course; strong on other metrics.
Savannah Smiles (20:10 Chepstow) — Top last time out by 1; good scores across the board.
Results: No winners today. Urban Sprawl finished 5th of 10 and Argentine Tango 3rd, both at big prices. Copper Knight ran well, led for a long way but finished 4th of 16 at a big price. Soi Dao was well backed and finished 3rd of 13. Savannah Smiles went closest, beaten a head in 2nd.
A deficit of £2,000 today leaves my bank at £48,485.00.
Total Bets: 715
Total Wins: 209
Daily profit:- £2000
Overall Profit: £47,485.00
Bank: £48,485.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Thursday 10th July
Three bets today using my method — on the low side given the amount of racing.
Wichahpi (14:10 Carlisle): Top last-time-out by 2, solid on all metrics when disregarding old figures from Mattice. Travelled well but didn’t pick up, finished 6th.
Jkr Cobbler (17:07 Carlisle): Joint top last-time-out, top for course and weight, strong on other metrics. Went off well-backed at 11/4 but disappointed.
Abundance (19:45 Newbury): Joint top last-time-out, top for course, close to top for distance and going when discounting old figures from Sunny Corner and Arkendale. Won well to secure a profit.
Result: £800 added to the bank, which now stands at £50,485.00.
Total Bets: 710
Total Wins: 209
Daily profit: £800
Overall Profit: £49,485.00
Bank: £50,485.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Wednesday 9th July
5 bets for me today using my method:
Myboymax (16:20 Catterick): Top last time out by 5, top for course, distance, and going.
Crowns Lady (16:50 Catterick): Top last time out by 3, top for course, going, and distance (discounting old figure from Lady Wingalong).
Mujid (20:40 Ffos Las): Top last time out by 4 (after non-runners), top for course and weight, close on other metrics.
Drumstick (20:25 Kempton): Top last time out by 1, discounting an old figure, close to best on every metric.
Bold Suitor (20:55 Kempton): Top last time out by 3 (after Serenity Dream became a non-runner), close to best on every metric among 9 remaining runners.
Results:
Myboymax: ran no sort of race.
Crowns Lady: finished strongly but just failed to catch the winner, close 2nd.
Mujid: couldn’t live with the front two at Ffos Las.
Drumstick: caught late, finished 2nd.
Bold Suitor: stayed on well, won easily.
Outcome: Deficit of £520 on the day. Bank now at £49,685.00.
Total Bets: 707
Total Wins: 208
Daily profit: -£520
Overall Profit: £48,685.00
Bank: £49,685.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Tuesday 8th July
4 bets today using my method:
Mount King (16:40 Pontefract): Top last time out by 1, and top for course, distance, and going.
Match Play (17:10 Pontefract): Top last time out by 5, and top for course, distance, and going.
Toussarok (18:12 Brighton): Top last time out by 1, and top on all metrics.
Tea Sea (20:42 Brighton): Top last time out by 3, and top for course, distance, and going.
A disappointing day with no winners: Mount King finished 4th, Match Play and Toussarok were both 3rd, and Tea Sea was 2nd. Plenty of near misses, but no goals — days like this are part of the journey.
I end the day with a £1,600 deficit, leaving my bank at £50,205.00.
Total Bets: 702
Total Wins: 207
Daily profit: -£1600
Overall Profit: £49,205.00
Bank: £50,205.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Monday 7th July
Four bets for me today, all at Ayr — nothing flagged at Ripon using my method.
We Still Believe (14:00): Top last time out by 5, top for distance. Discounting old figures from Young Fire, close to best on all metrics.
Inanna (14:30): Top last time out by 1. Discounting old scores from Red Mirage, high up on all metrics.
Abduction (15:00): Top last time out by 5, top for course. Discounting old numbers, scored well on all metrics.
Harswell Duke (16:40): Top last time out by 5. Discounting old figures from Trais Fluors, good scores across all metrics.
Results:
We Still Believe ran on up the far rail from well back. Although never involved, he wasn’t disgraced given the early position.
Inanna swooped late off a good gallop to win.
Abduction was held up and never involved.
Harswell Duke ran on strongly, hitting the line best of all to finish 5th, beaten only 1.75 lengths — one to keep an eye on, as he's handicapped to win soon.
Profit on the day: £236.
Total Bets: 698
Total Wins: 207
Daily profit: £236
Overall Profit: £50,805.00
Bank: £51,805.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Sunday 6th July
Just the one meeting today at Ayr, but the method still found three opportunities:
Our Absent Friends (13:45 Ayr): Top last time out, top for course, distance, and going.
Royal Countess (16:40): Joint top last time out, top for course, distance, and weight.
Darbucks (17:15): Joint top last time out, top for going, and second for course and distance.
Our Absent Friends and Royal Countess couldn’t get involved, but Darbucks finished the weekend brilliantly, making all in game fashion to win the last.
A profit on both Saturday and Sunday — today’s profit was a very decent £2,720, rocketing the bank to a new high of £51,569.00.
Total Bets: 694
Total Wins: 206
Daily profit: £2,720
Overall Profit: £50,569.00
Bank: £51,569.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Saturday 5th July
A busy Saturday as usual, with 7 bets using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Classic (14:25 Sandown): joint top last time out, top for course, close to top for distance and going.
Estrange (14:40 Haydock): top last time out by 2, top for course, distance, and going.
Ombudsman (15:35 Sandown): top last time out by 3, top on all metrics.
Squeezebox (17:05 Beverley): top last time out by 1, top for distance and going, one off top for course.
Optimatum (18:18 Leicester): top last time out by 3, top for course and going.
Spirit Of Applause (19:23 Nottingham): top last time out by 2, top for course, distance, and going.
Cushty (20:23 Nottingham): top last time out by 5, top for course and distance.
Classic got the day off to a flying start, making all at Sandown. Estrange followed with a short-priced win at Haydock, and at that point it looked like it could be a big day with five more bets to come.
Unfortunately, no further winners: Ombudsman was run down late to finish a close second at Sandown; Squeezebox was one-paced at Beverley; Spirit Of Applause ran similarly into third at Nottingham; Optimatum disappointed in third despite strong support at Leicester; and Cushty never really got involved.
This left me with a profit of £948.01. If the first five had lost and the last two had won, it would have felt very different despite the same result — a reminder to always keep emotions in check.
Total Bets: 691
Total Wins: 205
Daily profit: £948.01
Overall Profit: £47,849.00
Bank: £48,849.00
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Friday 4th July
5 bets today using my method:
Bahadur (14:50 Doncaster): Top last time out by 4; top on all metrics — finished 3rd.
Elsass (15:25 Doncaster): Top last time out by 7; top for course and strong on other metrics — unplaced, disappointing as a short-priced favourite.
Pearl Of Windsor (15:35 Sandown): Top last time out by 1; top for course, distance, and weight — ran poorly.
Checkandchallenge (16:10 Sandown): Top last time out by 2; top for course and weight, close on other metrics — finished 4th, lacked the pace to threaten.
Orbaan (18:50 Beverley): Top last time out by 2; top for distance, going, and weight; second for course — won well with a strong late run after market support.
Overall, a loss of £200 on the day, leaving my bank at £47,900.99.
Total Bets: 684
Total Wins: 203
Daily profit: -£200
Overall Profit: £46,900.99
Bank: £47,900.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Thursday 3rd July
Three bets today using my method applied to the Paceform Figures:
The Childe Of Hale (17:17 Haydock): Top last time out by 3 and top for course and distance. Travelled well and looked a threat when pulled out in the straight but didn't find as much as expected, finishing 4th after being well backed into favourite.
Massimo Blue (19:33 Kempton): Top last time out by 2 and top for course, distance, and going. Used early energy to race prominently from a wide draw and paid for it late, weakening out of contention.
Tyger Bay (20:43 Kempton): Joint top last time out and top for course, distance, and going. Missed the break but finished strongly, finding plenty under pressure to win comfortably.
Profit on the day: £2,164. Once again, this shows that those who remain consistent and disciplined reap the rewards.
Total Bets: 679
Total Wins: 202
Daily profit: £2164
Overall Profit: £47,100.99
Bank: £48,100.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Wednesday 2nd July
4 bets today using my method with Paceform Figures:
Saisons D'Or (15:33 Thirsk): Top last time out by 2, top for course, and close to best on other metrics.
Level Up (17:30 Chepstow): Joint top last time out, top for distance and going, and close up for course.
Alzahir (19:23 Epsom): Top last time out by 3, top for course and distance, and one off best for going.
Marlay Park (21:00 Epsom): Top last time out by 3, and top for course, distance, and going.
Saisons D'Or and Marlay Park endured wide trips throughout and couldn’t feature late on. Level Up ran well to finish 2nd. Alzahir won comfortably despite drifting in the market from odds-on to odds-against.
Overall, I finished the day with a £936 deficit as the price I secured on Alzahir was significantly lower than the eventual SP.
Total Bets: 676
Total Wins: 201
Daily profit: -£936
Overall Profit: £44,936.99
Bank: £45,936.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Tuesday 1st July
7 bets today using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Propagation (14:30 Musselburgh): Top last time out by 2, top for course, close on other metrics.
Bear To Dream (14:40 Brighton): Top last time out by 6; discounting old figures from Toussarok, close to best on all metrics.
Clasina (15:30 Musselburgh): Top last time out by 2, close up on all metrics.
Poetic Force (15:40 Brighton): Top last time out by 2, top on every metric.
Detective (16:00 Musselburgh): Top last time out by 3, top for distance and weight, close on other metrics.
Fletchers Dream (16:30 Musselburgh): Top last time out by 7, close up on all metrics.
Almaty Star (18:30 Chelmsford): Top last time out by 3, top for course and distance, close on other metrics.
Only one winner on the day, but it came at a decent price — Detective, who surged late at Musselburgh. Of the others, only Bear To Dream went close, running on well to finish second.
This left me with a modest profit of £160 to start July.
Total Bets: 672
Total Wins: 200
Daily profit: £160
Overall Profit: £45,872.99
Bank: £46,872.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Monday 30th June
5 bets today across the meetings, applying my method to the Paceform Figures:
Try Storm Cat (14:30 Pontefract) — top last time out by 9, and top on every metric.
Change Of Fortune (14:45 Ffos Las) — top last time out by 2, top for course and distance, close up on other metrics.
Bosh (19:30 Wolves) — top last time out by 1, top for course, distance, and going.
Lequinto (20:45 Windsor) — joint top last time out, top for course, distance, going, and weight.
Trusty Scout (21:00 Wolves) — top last time out by 5, top for course, distance, and weight; second for going.
Results: Two winners today: Try Storm Cat stayed on strongly at Pontefract, and Lequinto came from last to first in style, winning by a wide margin at Windsor.
However, they weren't enough to cover the three losers: Change Of Fortune was well beaten despite strong support, Bosh couldn’t match the runaway winner, and Trusty Scout ran out of time when finishing fast for a close 3rd at a big price.
Daily result: -£68, leaving my bank at £46,712.99 to close off June.
Total Bets: 665
Total Wins: 199
Daily profit: -£68
Overall Profit: £45,712.99
Bank: £46,712.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Sunday 29th June
No bets today using my method and the Paceform Figures, mainly due to a lack of course form at Ffos Las and because I don’t bet at Irish turf meetings - ruling out the Curragh. I place a lot of emphasis on course form; if a runner doesn’t have any, or hasn’t performed to its best at a specific track before, I pass it over. My data shows that being top-rated at the course is a major positive for long-term profit. I’ll just be watching the great racing at the Curragh today instead of getting involved. Back tomorrow to continue building the bank.
Saturday 28th June
5 bets for me today across the busy UK flat meetings, using my method:
Stanage (13:55 York): Top last time out by 1, top for course, distance, and going.
JM Jungle (15:00 York): Top last time out by 2, top for course, and close to best on other metrics.
Zip (15:45 Newcastle): Top last time out by 3, scoring well on all metrics.
Territorial Knight (16:50 York): Top last time out by 3, close to best on all metrics.
Catch Cunningham (19:45 Lingfield): Top last time out by 2, top for distance, and close to best on all other metrics.
A blank day for me with 5 losers:
Stanage never really threatened.
JM Jungle ran well, pipped at the line to finish 2nd.
Zip was well beaten.
Territorial Knight ran a cracker at a huge price, battling hard to finish a close 3rd.
Catch Cunningham summed the day up: travelled smoothly but repeatedly blocked, finishing 4th in a luckless effort.
A deficit of £2,000 today takes my bank to £46,780.99. As regular readers know, there are many days like this. It’s those who stick to the process consistently, with discipline and belief, who achieve the big rewards over time.
Total Bets: 660
Total Wins: 197
Daily profit: -£2000
Overall Profit: £45,780.99
Bank: £46,780.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Friday 27th June
5 bets today across the cards, using my method to quickly handle all the form study and Paceform Figures number-crunching.
Angle Land (14:00 Yarmouth): Top last time out by 5; top for all metrics. Finished 2nd, no match for the winner.
Cryptos Dream (15:33 Yarmouth): Top last time out by 4; top for distance; close on other metrics. Ran on, not beaten far in 4th.
Alashos (16:30 Doncaster): Top last time out by 3; top for all metrics. Beaten a neck in 2nd.
Dark Side Thunder (16:40 Yarmouth): Top last time out by 2; top on every metric. Finished 3rd.
Angel Shared (20:55 Newmarket): Top last time out by 1; top for course, top for weight, 2nd for distance. Latest run was on good ground, comparable to today’s good to firm (good in places). Brave in the finish to win by a head at a big price (I didn’t manage to beat the SP).
The day ended with a £1,980 profit, pushing my bank up to £48,780.99 ahead of a very busy weekend of racing.
Total Bets: 655
Total Wins: 197
Daily profit: £1980
Overall Profit: £47,780.99
Bank: £48,780.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Thursday 26th June
Busy day with 7 bets using my method on the Paceform Figures:
Spring Bloom (15:00 Newmarket): Top last time out by 1; best for course, distance, and weight; close to top for going.
Fantasy Believer (15:10 Newcastle): Top last time out by 1; close across all key metrics.
Two Tribes (16:10 Newmarket): Top last time out by 2; top for course; strong scores across the board.
Soldiers Design (16:32 Nottingham): Joint top last time out; top for course and distance; latest figure of 79 came on good/good to firm in places, so worth chancing on today's good to firm ground.
Kyber Crystal (18:45 Hamilton): Top last time out by 1; top for course; close on other measures.
Brooklyn Nine Nine (19:15 Hamilton): Top last time out by 2; top for course and distance; latest figure of 93 came on similar ground.
Lipsink (20:00 Leicester): Joint top last time out; top for course, going, and weight; just off the best for distance.
Results:
Spring Bloom sat prominently but couldn’t land a blow, finishing 5th.
Fantasy Believer stayed on well for 3rd at a big price.
Two Tribes was never travelling and finished last—something may have gone amiss.
Soldiers Design ran on well into 3rd with too much ground to make up.
Kyber Crystal was collared late and finished 2nd.
Brooklyn Nine Nine stayed on strongly to win nicely (though I didn’t beat the SP).
Lipsink set a good pace but folded tamely.
A slightly frustrating day overall, ending with a small £80 loss, leaving the bank at £46,800.99.
Total Bets: 650
Total Wins: 196
Daily profit: -£80
Overall Profit: £45,800.99
Bank: £46,800.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Wednesday 25th June
Four bets for me today using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Mostawaa (15:15 Carlisle) – Joint top last time out, top for course, and close to best on other metrics.
Iris Dancer (17:25 Carlisle) – Top last time out by 1 and top on every metric.
Dubai Beach (19:30 Kempton) – Top last time out by 4, top for distance and going, second for course.
Rebel Cove (19:50 Bath) – Top last time out by 1, close to best for course, distance, and going.
A blank day, but not a bad showing. Mostawaa ran a blinder to finish a close 3rd of 16 at a big price. Iris Dancer was 4th, Dubai Beach 2nd, and Rebel Cove a running-on 3rd. Deficit of £1,600 on the day brings the bank to £46,880.99.
It’s important to keep perspective: I’ve had 643 bets, with 195 winners – meaning 448 have lost. That’s a 70% losing rate, yet I’m significantly ahead overall.
If you can’t cope with blank days and losing spells, you’ll never see the big rewards. Too many people are short-sighted and emotional.
I’m simply trying to show what’s possible with discipline, patience, and a long-term approach.
Total Bets: 643
Total Wins: 195
Daily profit: -£1600
Overall Profit: £45,880.99
Bank: £46,880.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Tuesday 24th June
Just one bet for me today using the Paceform Figures and my method (originally two, but Marlay Park in the 20:15 at Newbury was a non-runner). That left Spanish Star in the 20:50 at Newbury—top-rated last time out by 3, and best for course, distance, going, and weight.
And what a result! As usual, he was held up at the back before slicing through the field to win impressively. A fantastic profit of £3,468. He hadn’t won in two years, but the method and the Paceform Figures pointed clearly to him today—and he delivered.
Once again, a reminder that discipline and consistency pay off.
Total Bets: 639
Total Wins: 195
Daily profit: £3468
Overall Profit: £47,480.99
Bank: £48,480.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Monday 23rd June
2 bets today using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Bold Suitor (17:05 Wolverhampton): Top-rated last time out by 2 points, top for distance and going, and very close to the top course figure (discounting an old run from Red Walls). He won by a wide margin.
Lady Of The Isles (18:25 Windsor): Top-rated last time out by 2 points, top for course, distance, and going. Ran well to finish 4th at a big price, without ever threatening the easy winner.
Result: Modest profit of £288, taking my bank to £45,012.99.
Other notes:
Had I noticed Mehmo was a non-runner in the 15:15 Chepstow, Endowed would’ve become a qualifier—top-rated last time out (after Mehmo’s withdrawal) and top for distance, going, and weight, with third-best course figure. He won after being well backed.
Arboreous (16:35 Wolves): Despite having the best course figure (66), he was the only runner with a previous course run and this was well below his last-time-out figure of 84. According to my method, and referring to my flow chart, he couldn’t be expected to reproduce his best under today’s conditions—no bet.
Same logic applied to Bownder (20:30 Windsor)—top course figure (only course figure in the race) but 66 far below recent form of 77. Again, no bet.
Total Bets: 638
Total Wins: 194
Daily profit: £288
Overall Profit: £44,012.99
Bank: £45,012.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Sunday 22nd June
No bets for me today across the two meetings. Frustratingly, the ground at Pontefract turned out to be more Good than the forecasted Good to Firm. Had that been known, the ratings would’ve flagged Style Of Life (17:25 Pontefract) as a selection—she was top-rated last time out by 2 and had the best course-and-distance figure when ignoring older numbers from Mount King. Her going figure of -11 was misleading, as she recorded her 85 on good ground, so conditions actually suited. Unlucky, but that’s racing—sometimes you miss a loser rather than a winner.
Saturday 21st June
Despite a busy day of racing nationwide, I only found two bets using my method and the Paceform Figures.
Inisherin (15:40 Ascot) was joint top last time out and top-rated for course, distance, and going.
Park Street (16:45 Redcar) was top last time out by 2, top for distance and going, and close to best on other metrics.
Both were backed at good prices and went off shorter, but neither really threatened. Inisherin looked one-paced and finished 7th, while Park Street travelled well but his jockey never moved in the finish—possibly something was amiss. A loss of £800 brings the bank to £44,724.99.
Total Bets: 636
Total Wins: 193
Daily profit: -£800
Overall Profit: £43,724.99
Bank: £44,724.99
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Friday 20th June
Two bets today using Paceform Figures and my criteria:
Due Respect (14:50 Redcar) – Top LTO by 3; top for course, distance, and going.
Miss Lamai (18:10 Ascot) – Top LTO by 1; top for distance and strong across all metrics.
A day where an inch made the difference between profit and loss. Due Respect led everywhere but was caught in the final strides by the favourite. Miss Lamai was never involved.
Loss of £800 – bank now at £45,524.99.
Total Bets: 634
Total Wins: 193
Daily profit: -£800
Overall Profit: £44,524.99

Thursday 19th June
A very busy day with 8 qualifying bets using my method applied to the Paceform Figures:
Francesi (14:15 Chelmsford) – Top last time out by 2, also top for course, distance, and going.
Mr Jetman (15:15 Ripon) – Top last time out by 1; discounting old figures for Westernesse, he's close to top on all metrics.
Fidelius (15:23 Chelmsford) – Top last time out by 1 and top on every metric.
Marks Choice (17:10 Ripon) – Joint top last time, top for course, going, and weight; second for distance by 1.
Fravanco (17:58 Lingfield) – Joint top last time out, top for course and going, and rated well for distance.
Gleneagle Bay (18:10 Ascot) – Top last time out by 2, close up on all metrics.
Cosmos Raj (19:50 Wetherby) – Joint top last time out, top for going and weight, close on other metrics.
Vitalline (20:10 Lingfield) – Top last time out by 2, top for course, and close to best on all other metrics.
Two winners from eight and a very tidy profit thanks to some great value. Marks Choice was a comfortable winner at Ripon after strong market support, while Vitalline produced a remarkable win at Lingfield—missing the break badly, racing in last, but storming home late to snatch victory.
A brilliant end to the day, delivering an exact £3,000 profit, pushing the bank to £45,324.99. Another day highlighting the power of a plan, accurate data, and consistent, disciplined execution.
Total Bets: 632
Total Wins: 193
Daily profit: £3000
Overall Profit: £45,324.99
Bank: £46,324.99

Wednesday 18th June
Another busy day with 8 bets using my method:
15:40 Ascot – Running Lion: Top-rated last time out by 1; also top for course, going, and weight; 2nd for distance.
16:00 Hamilton – Iris Dancer: Joint top last time out; top for course, distance, and going.
16:20 Ascot – See The Fire: Top last time out by 3; top for going and close in other metrics.
17:20 Hamilton – Native Honey: Top last time out by 5; top for course and going.
18:10 Ascot – Old Is Gold: Top last time out by 4; close to best on other metrics.
19:30 Ripon – Lord Protector: Top last time out by 1; top for course and weight; strong on other metrics.
20:00 Ripon – Mae Amor: Joint top last time out; top for course and distance; solid overall.
21:00 Ripon – Canaria Queen: Joint top last time out; top for distance; competitive on other metrics.
Results & Reflections:
Running Lion led until late but faded to 4th.
Iris Dancer bolted up for an easy win.
See The Fire finished 3rd.
Native Honey never really threatened.
Old Is Gold ran well but couldn’t reach the leaders – 8th of 23, beaten 3.75L.
Lord Protector was desperately unlucky – denied a run throughout, flew late for 3rd, beaten a neck and a head.
Mae Amor didn’t travel well but stuck on for 3rd.
Canaria Queen was well backed but one-paced in the finish.
A frustrating day defined by Lord Protector’s luckless run – a likely winner with a clear path. Fine margins like that are often the difference between a big profit and a loss. That’s why staying level-headed and disciplined with the process and staking is so important.

Tuesday 17th June
A busy day with 6 bets using my method and the Paceform data:
Brazilian Belle (15:23 Thirsk): Top last time out by 3; top on all metrics – 4th
Vince Le Prince (16:40 Thirsk): Top last time out by 1; close to best overall – 2nd at a big price
Torito (17:35 Ascot): Top last time out by 3; top on all metrics – travelled well, faded late after layoff – one to note
Equity Law (17:50 Thirsk): Top last time out by 3; close to best for course, distance, and going – 2nd, just caught late
Irish Dancer (19:00 Southwell): Top last time out by 4; close to best on all metrics – won well
Triple Force (20:45 Beverley): Top last time out by 5; strong for course, distance, going when discounting old figures – made all, won comfortably.
2 winners from 6 – not quite enough to turn a profit, resulting in a small loss of £187.99. Updated bankroll: £45,224.99.

Monday 16th June
The day before Royal Ascot and four bets for me, all located using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Fact Or Fable (17:05 Chepstow): Joint top last time out, close up on all key metrics.
Poet’s Dawn (17:25 Carlisle): Top last time out by 3, best for distance, and close on other metrics.
Young Endless (18:40 Wolverhampton): Top last time out by 1, best for course and distance, and close on going and weight.
White Umbrella (20:40 Wolverhampton): Top last time out by 1, just off top for course and distance, and close to best on going.
A brilliant day: Young Endless won at a huge Betfair SP of 16/1 (much bigger than what I managed to get), while White Umbrella travelled like the best horse and cruised to victory after strong support.
That gave me a whopping profit of £4,636, pushing my bank to a new high of £45,412.98.
Two new bank highs in quick succession after a quiet spell. In this game, the patient and disciplined are always rewarded — the rest end up paying for it. Pick which side you want to be on.

Sunday 15th June
Two bets today using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Wreck It Ryley (14:25 Doncaster): Top rated last time out by 1, strong across all metrics.
Dutch Decoy (16:05 Doncaster): Joint top last time out, best for distance, going, and weight; second-best course figure.
Results: Wreck It Ryley never travelled and ran below par. Dutch Decoy was involved in a tight finish but had to settle for a close 4th. A deficit of £800 brings the bank to £40,776.98.

Saturday 14th June
A busy Saturday, reflected by six bets using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Absurde (15:00 York): Joint top last time out, top for going, and close to best for course and distance.
Miami Matrix (15:20 Chester): Top last time out by 1, top for course and distance.
Carp Kid (15:43 Bath): Top last time out by 1, and top for course, distance, and going.
Wave Rider (15:50 Sandown): Top last time out by 5, and top for course and distance.
Mister Sox (17:20 York): Top last time out by 1, close to best on all metrics when excluding older Aberama Gold figures.
Shark Two One (18:50 Leicester): Top last time out by 5, and top for course, distance, going, and weight.
A brilliant day with 3 winners: Miami Matrix travelled well and won impressively at Chester, Wave Rider did the same at Sandown, and Shark Two One closed the day with a strong win at Leicester.
That brought a profit of £4,332, pushing my bank to a new high of £41,576.98. Incredible what can be achieved with discipline and trust in the process—almost 7 months to the day since starting this challenge with just £1,000.

Friday 13th June
4 bets today using my criteria and the Paceform Figures:
Tolstoy (13:50 York) – Top last time out by 5 (after a non-runner) and top for course and distance. Finished 2nd, beaten a neck.
Arqoob (15:15 Sandown) – Joint top last time out and top on every metric. Finished 4th at a big price.
Topteam (15:25 Chester) – Top last time out by 4 and top for course and distance. Won bravely.
Gdaay (16:00 Chester) – Joint top last time out and top for course, going, and weight. Finished 3rd at a big price.
Tolstoy’s narrow defeat was the difference between profit and loss, leaving me with a £260 deficit on the day. My bank is now: £37,244.98

Visibility (17:22 Yarmouth) – Top last time out by 6, top for course, distance, and going.
Kessaar Power (20:30 Chelmsford) – Joint top last time out, top for weight, and close on other metrics.
Only Kessaar Power ran with credit, finishing 2nd behind a short-priced favourite. The day ended with a £1,200 deficit, bringing my bank to £37,504.98.

Wednesday 11th June
4 bets today using my method and the Paceform Figures:
City Of York (17:00 Lingfield): Top last time out by 1, top for course and weight, 2nd for going and distance. Ran on well for a close 3rd.
Winged Messenger (20:00 Hamilton): Top last time out by 2, top for going, strong across other metrics. Finished 2nd.
Lesson Of Life (20:10 Kempton): Top last time out by 2, top for course, distance, and going. Also finished 2nd.
Iris Dancer (20:30 Hamilton): Top last time out by 1 and top across every metric. Won gamely after being well backed close to the off, despite the runner-up trying to bite her at the finish!
That rounded off the day with an £800 profit, taking my bank to £38,704.98.

Tuesday 10th June
Two bets for me today using my method, but the key takeaway was a costly miss. Sunset In Paris (16:45 Wolverhampton) was top last time out by 2 (which I failed to spot), top for course and distance, and second for going and weight—a clear qualifier using the method. He went on to win at a Betfair SP of 19.83 (over 18/1), which is painful to miss, but once again highlights the power of the Paceform Figures. No excuses—human error on my part.
Well done to the members who did back Sunset In Paris and landed a huge winner.
My two bets were:
Piranha Rama (17:05 Salisbury) – Top last time out by 5, top for weight, second for the other three metrics. Led throughout but faded tamely late on.
Kalganov (20:10 Catterick) – Joint top last time out, top for distance, and close on the other metrics. Disputed the lead into the final furlong but faded into 3rd.
A deficit of £800 on the day brings the bank to £37,904.98.

Monday 9th June
A trio of flat meetings today, but my sole focus was Brighton, where four qualifiers met my method using Paceform Figures.
14:25 Brighton – Pop Dancer: Top last time out by 1 and led every key metric.
16:02 Brighton – Buy The Dip: Top LTO by 5. Discounting old figures from Darvel (a non-runner), he was top for course, distance, and weight, and one off best for going.
16:32 Brighton – Zu Run: Top LTO by 3, top for course and distance, and close to best on other metrics.
17:03 Brighton – Poetic Force: Joint top LTO, top overall by 2, led on course, distance, and going, and just three off best on weight.
Another highly profitable day. Poetic Force, the biggest-priced of the four, finished strongly to win the last. He was very well backed close to race time having been much bigger earlier on. With both Buy The Dip and Pop Dancer narrowly beaten by a nose, it was agonisingly close to being an even better day.
Still, my bank rose by £2,000, now sitting at £38,704.98 — just £976 short of my all-time high since starting with £1,000 on 18/11/2024.

Sunday 8th June
Just the one flat meeting today at Goodwood, but it produced two solid opportunities using my method applied to the Paceform Figures.
Aggagio (16:10 Goodwood) – Top last time out by a good 6-point margin, top for course and going, and produced his best figure at this distance (the same 90 figure as for course/going). He was well backed late, sat close to the pace, kicked on in the straight, and won comfortably by 1.25 lengths.
Hamish (16:45 Goodwood) – Top last time out by 10, and also top for course, distance, going, and weight. Given a patient ride, he hit the front inside the final furlong and held on gamely.
Two from two, a profit of £1,764, and my bank now stands at £36,704.98. After a tricky losing spell, I’ve now got positive momentum and I'm closing in on a new bank high.
Consistency, discipline, and not quitting – that’s what brings the rewards.

Saturday 7th June
A typically busy Saturday resulted in 7 bets using my method with the Paceform Figures:
Jabaara (15:10 Musselburgh): Top last time out by 3, and top for course, distance, going, and weight.
Some Nightmare (17:30 Chepstow): Top last time out by 1, top for course and weight, and close to top on other metrics.
Mon Na Slieve (17:45 Doncaster): Top last time out by 1, top for distance, going, and weight, with a decent course figure.
Remmooz (18:45 Doncaster): Joint top last time out, top for course and distance. Had one run on good to firm—worth chancing today on similar ground.
Ultramarine (19:00 Chepstow): Top last time out by 1, top for course and weight. Discounting an old figure from Mum’s Tipple, was also top for distance with a solid going figure.
Eye Of The Water (20:00 Chepstow): Top last time out by 2, and top on every metric.
Amathus (20:10 Lingfield): Joint top last time out, and top for every metric.
Results: Jabaara got the day off to a flyer with a comfortable win. Some Nightmare never landed a blow. Mon Na Slieve led but faded. Remmooz won impressively by 3 lengths, followed by Ultramarine’s facile 4.5-length success at a decent price. Eye Of The Water was never involved, and heavy rain at Lingfield turned the ground soft, likely against Amathus.
Final tally: 3 winners from 7 bets, with a profit of £1,792, taking the bank to £34,940.98.

Friday 6th June
Despite a busy day of racing that took all night to rate, only one bet qualified using my method and the Paceform Figures.
Soi Dao in the 20:40 at Bath—top rated last time out by 8, and best for distance, going, and weight; just one off the best for course.
Raced prominently but was outpaced at a key stage and couldn’t close on the leader. Bank now at £33,148.98 ahead of another very busy Saturday.

Thursday 5th June
A rare no bet day today with nothing standing out using my method and the Paceform Figures. A lack of course form on offer amongst the horses that were top rated last time out being the main factor for a lack of qualifiers. Im sure there will be opportunities tomorrow and over a very busy weekend of racing.
Wednesday 4th June
3 bets today using my method and the Paceform Figures:
Thyer (16:22 Nottingham) – Top last time out by 8; top for course, distance, and weight. Finished 3rd.
Rock Of England (20:22 Ripon) – Top last time out by 3; top for course, going, and weight. Couldn’t reach the leaders, finished 4th.
Precious Spartan (20:52 Ripon) – Top last time out by 3; top for course, distance, going, and weight. Won emphatically by 4.5 lengths.
That gave me a small profit of £60 on the day, taking the bankroll to £33,548.98 — nicely positioned ahead of some massive racing this weekend, including the Derby.

Tuesday 3rd June
Just one bet for me today using my method and the Paceform Figures.
Tatmeen (18:15 Lingfield) was joint top last time out, top on course form, and close to the best on other metrics.
Backed into 6/4 SP, my early price north of 2/1 looked good value, but a slowly run race worked against him and he never landed a blow. A £400 loss leaves the bank at £33,488.98.

Monday 2nd June
Back to Business Today – £4,740 Profit
A return to serious profits after a losing spell, going 3 from 3 using the Paceform Figures and my method.
Bear To Dream (14:25 Brighton) – Joint top-rated last time out. Discounting older figures from rivals, she ranked close to best across most metrics. A comfortable winner to start the day.
Twilight Guest (16:10 Brighton) – Top-rated last time out, top for distance and weight, and strong on course and going. Drifted from favouritism but finished strongly to land the win.
Fleetwater (17:40 Windsor) – Joint top last time out, top for course and going, second for weight, and third for distance. Travelled well and burst through late to win at a nice price.
Today’s profit: £4,740, taking my bank to £33,888.98.
This is why discipline, consistency, and trust in the method matter. Winners come in clusters, but you must ride out the losing spells to benefit from days like today. That’s how I’ve turned a £1,000 bank into nearly £34,000.
When I wrap up this challenge in the near future, all Paceform members with active subscriptions will receive my blog picks moving forward – a reward for those who stick with it, understand losing runs, and stay the course.

Sunday 1st June
No bets for me today across the two English meetings, although I gave some thought to Bay Of Dreams in the 14:25 at Nottingham. He was top last time out by 7 and also top for course and distance. I narrowly left him out due to the morning going being described as Good, Good to Soft in places, while his latest run was on Good to Firm. However, by race time the going was simply Good — had I known this, I’d have definitely backed him. He duly won, well supported from a morning price above 2/1 into an SP of 5/4.
The other race that caught my attention was the 16:00 at Nottingham. Nad Alshiba Green and Elegant Erin were joint top last time out with conditions to suit, but I couldn’t split them. Elegant Erin’s figures under today’s conditions were over a year old, and both had a best figure of 89 in the past 12 months. They finished 1st and 2nd.
Saturday 31st May
4 bets today using my usual method tied to the Paceform data:
Witch Hunter (14:10 Chester) – Top last time out by 1; top for distance and going; close to best on other metrics. Never got involved, held up in a slowly run race.
Jm Jungle (14:40 York) – Joint top last time out; top for course; close to best on other metrics. Ran really well, close 3rd at York.
Muker (17:25 Southwell) – Joint top last time out; top for course, distance, and going. Finished 5th.
Create (19:25 Southwell) – Top last time out by 3; top on every metric. Ran on strongly to win.
Profit on the day: £400

Friday 30th May
Two bets for me today using my method and the Paceform Figures in the ongoing push to grow the bank.
Havana Mojito – 16:40 Brighton: Top last time out by 2 points and close to best on other metrics, especially when discounting outdated figures from English Spirit.
Ravenglass – 17:00 Chepstow: Top last time out by 1, also best on course and distance, and close to top on other metrics.
Another frustrating day. Havana Mojito ran no sort of race, while Ravenglass flew home for second, just running out of time to catch the winner despite finishing strongly.
Bank now sits at £28,748.98 ahead of a very busy Saturday’s racing.

Thursday 29th May
3 bets today using my method applied to the data:
Barmyblade (15:20 Ripon) – Top last time out by 4, and top for course, distance, and going.
Have Secret (15:50 Ripon) – Top last time out by 1, and top for course, distance, and going.
Cosmos Raj (17:30 Ripon) – Top last time out by 5, top for course and going, and close to best on other metrics.
All three ran well:
Barmyblade travelled like the best horse but didn’t find as much as expected, finishing 3rd. Have Secret stayed on strongly, but the leader got first run and just held on – he finished 2nd. Cosmos Raj made no mistake in the last, winning well.
Another "nearly" day, ending with a deficit of £216. Current bank: £29,548.98. Like the last losing spell in early April, I just need to stay consistent and stick to the process.
Total Bets: 558
Total Wins: 170
Daily profit: -£216
Overall Profit: £28,548.98
Bank: £29,548.98
Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Wednesday 28th May
Two bets for me today using the Paceform Figures and my method—another day of fine margins to test the patience!
Casilli (15:40 Beverley) was top-rated last time out by 2, top for the going, and just off the best on every other metric.
Distinction (16:10 Beverley) was top-rated last time out by 1, top for the going, and close on all other metrics.
Casilli ran no sort of race, while Distinction led and traded at 1.01 in running but was beaten on the line in a photo. A cigar paper between a big return and an £800 loss today, taking the bank to £29,764.98.

Startling (19:12 Wolverhampton) – Joint top last time out. Disregarding old figures from Jeans Maite, close to top on every metric. Ran on strongly for 3rd but couldn’t catch the winner.

Monday 26th May
Two bets for me today using the Paceform Figures and my usual rules.
Kalganov (15:25 Redcar) – Joint top last time out, top-rated for course and going, and close to best on other metrics.
Young Fire (17:45 Redcar) – Top last time out by 8, top for course and weight, and close to best on other metrics.
Kalganov ran well in second but was no match for the winner. Young Fire couldn’t get involved from a wide draw, which ended his chances. A loss of £800 on the day brings the bank to £30,788.98.

Next Stake: £400 (capping stake at £400, going higher makes it difficult to get bets on unless placed at the off.)

Saturday 24th May
A very busy Saturday with meetings all over the place, but the Paceform Figures quickly highlighted 7 betting opportunities using my criteria:
Argentine Tango (14:10 Beverley) – Top last time out by 12 (after non-runners), top overall by 12, and top for course, distance, and going.
Zephlyn (14:50 Catterick) – Joint top last time out, top overall by 3, and top for course, distance, and going when discounting old figures from Captain Potter.

Three winners on the day – Argentine Tango, Zephlyn, and Betweenthesticks – delivered a tidy profit of £1,548, taking the bank to £31,588.98.

Friday 23rd May
Four bets today using the Paceform Figures and my method:
Connie’s Rose (13:40 Bath) – Top last time out by 1; top for course, going, and weight.
Sisters In The Sky (14:50 Bath) – Top last time out by 2; close to best across all metrics when discounting older figures.

Result: Only Dappled Light won, with the others running below par. That left a £248 loss on the day, bringing the bank to £30,040.98.
Periods like this can be frustrating, but it’s important to stay focused on the long term — where could we be in 1, 3, or 6 months?
At the start of April, my bank nearly halved from its peak, but it quickly hit a new high when the winners returned. I didn’t deviate from the process — I stuck with consistency, discipline, and full belief in the method. That’s what’s brought the real rewards.
Total Bets: 541
Total Wins: 165
Daily profit: -£248
Overall Profit: £29,040.98
Bank: £30,040.98

Thursday 22nd May
Two bets today using the Paceform Figures and criteria:
Woodhay Whisper (17:30 Wolves): Top last time out by 1; top for distance, going, and weight; 2nd for course.
Bizarre Law (20:50 Chelmsford): Top last time out by 3; close to best for course, distance, and going.
Another day of near misses, with both horses finishing 2nd. Woodhay Whisper wore down the leader late but was then caught herself in the dying strides, beaten a neck. Bizarre Law ran on strongly from a hold-up ride on the rail for 2nd.
An £800 loss to my £400 stakes brings the bank to £30,288.98 ahead of a busy weekend with some quality racing.

Wednesday 21st May
4 bets today using my criteria applied to the Paceform Figures:

Pop Dancer (18:00 Brighton) – Top last time out by 4, top on every metric.
Eton Blue (20:00 Brighton) – Top last time out by 4, top for course, close on other metrics.
Garden Oasis got me off to a winning start with a game front-running performance at Ayr. Only downside was failing to beat the SP.Pop Dancer was caught close to the line and finished 2nd.Savannah Smiles came 3rd.Eton Blue was unplaced.
This left me with a £400 profit on the day. A better result was within reach had Pop Dancer held on, but it wasn’t to be. The bank now stands at £31,088.98.
